It's finally arrived - the last full day of winter. It was a spring-like start on Wednesday with light rain moving through the northern half of the viewing area and temperatures in the 40s. The rain should be gone by sunrise with lingering clouds and temperatures likely falling through the 40s until 10 AM. As a cold front slides east our skies will clear and temperatures will recover for the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 50s with gusty northwesterly winds.
Skies should remain clear overnight and that will lead to a cold start on Thursday. Temperatures will be in the lower-mid 30s early. A warm front will help send temperatures into the 60s for the afternoon with lots of sunshine.
