WEATHER ALERT: Severe storms possible Saturday night

Storm Outlook with primary threats

There is a significant threat for severe storms Saturday evening into early Sunday morning.

Rapid severe thunderstorm development is expected after 7 p.m. Saturday and continuing through 6 a.m. Sunday.

All modes of severe weather are possible. Small isolated storms will make way for a strong line of storms late Saturday.

The strongest storms will be capable of producing golf ball size hail (around 2 inches), damaging wind gusts up to 80 mph. While the threat for tornadoes is low, it is not zero. You should have a plan in place should severe weather threaten.
