Wed, 26 Mar 2014 12:25:34 GMT — While it was a winter-like start on Wednesday, spring is returning and with that comes fire danger. A Red Flag Warning is in effect until 7 PM throughout Mid-Missouri. Low moisture content in the air and grass combined with gusty southerly winds with create conditions where wildfires can spread rapidly. Outdoor burning should be avoided.Moisture levels will increase throughout the day on Wednesday as highs are pleasant in the mid-upper 50s. Rain chances pick up after 7 PM and will continue, off and on, through Thursday.
