Wanna get away?

Something very odd happened Monday.

A big, bright shiny thing appeared in the sky.

Little darling, it's been a long, cold, lonely winter.

Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here.

But alas, it's still only mid-February and more lousy weather will be here before you can say Here Comes the Sun.

Here, however, is your chance to get away.

Central Bank is sponsoring a fabulous four-day, three-night trip for two, March 20-23, to enjoy some St. Louis Cardinals spring training baseball in Jupiter, Fla.

Here's what you can win:

* Round-trip air fare for two.

* Rental car for three days.

* Three-night stay at Homewood Suites in Jupiter, which includes breakfast each morning.

* Tickets to the games on March 21 (vs. the Nationals) and March 23 (vs. the Astros).

* Dinner with Cardinals manager Mike Matheny and select players following the game on March 21.

* and a Cardinals merchandise package.

What a great getaway to have a great time at just the right time.

"Central Bank has been an official bank of the Cardinals for a couple of seasons now," said Central Bank Marketing Coordinator Clay Broughton said. "Part of that is offering products and services, in association with the Cardinals.

"Part of that is also just saying thank you to Cardinal fans, which is what this contest is all about."

If you've never experienced spring training, it's one of the warm fuzzies of spring --- relaxed, up close and personal, warm weather, green grass ... baseball.

"It was my idea to do it for our area," Broughton said, "but the original idea came from one of our affiliate-banks in St. Louis."

Like seeing the sun in February, this is a rarity in life --- you have nothing to lose, a great trip to win. To enter, just go to the Central Bank Facebook page and follow the directions.

It's that easy.

Pitchers and catchers reported Wednesday. The entire team is now in camp.

The Cardinals were just two wins short of winning the World Series last year. This year promises to be another great ride.

"Certainly, coming off the great year that they had, 2014 could be even better," said Broughton, a self-proclaimed Cardinal fanatic. "To get down there and see those guys who are going to be great in 2014, plus some guys who will be great in three or four years, would be a heck of a treat."

Broughton continued.

"The neatest thing that I thought they did in the offseason isn't what they did, it was what they didn't have to do. They didn't give up any of their young, awesome pitchers, and that's what excites me most."

Wanna get away? I do. Unfortuntely, I can't win.

But you can.

The winner will be announced on March 4.

Here's hoping it's you.
