The Cole County Relay for Life starts Friday evening at the Jefferson City Jaycees fairground.
KRCG 13 Sports Director Rod Smith is the emcee for the all-night event.
Walkers will spend the evening walking to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Since the Cole County relay started in 1997, walkers have raised almost $4.3 million.
