Walkers get ready for Cole County Relay for Life


The Cole County Relay for Life starts Friday evening at the Jefferson City Jaycees fairground.


KRCG 13 Sports Director Rod Smith is the emcee for the all-night event.


Walkers will spend the evening walking to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Since the Cole County relay started in 1997, walkers have raised almost $4.3 million.

7 p.m. Mr. Relay Princess Version Begins

7:15 Band, Faded Youth Begins

8 p.m. Band Ends/Obstacle Course Begins

8:30 p.m. Mission Moment

9 p.m. Silent Auction Closes

9 p.m. Crazy Lap - Cinderella

9:30 p.m. Mr. Relay Ends

10 p.m. Luminaria Ceremony

11:30 p.m. Fight Back Ceremony

12:00 p.m. Scavenger Hunt/Obstacle Course Winner Announced

12:30 p.m. Crazy Lap - 3 Legged

1:00 a.m. Lip Syncing Competition Begins - Crazy Lap - Reverse
