Update: Car crash victim doing better in hospital

One of the victims of Thursday morning's fatal car accident is doing better in the hospital.
Doctors at University Hospital in Columbia list T homas Antweiler, 59, of Jefferson City in fair condition.
Update: 12:58 p.m.Car crash kills one, leaves one in serious condition and injures two others. Car crash victim Thomas Antweiler is in serious condition at University Hospital. A family friend said that Antweiler possibly has a broken neck. One person was killed in the crash. Police said Alan Reinkemeyer, 54, of Centertown died in the collision. A Jefferson City Police report said that two other victims, Timothy Suggett, 22, of Tebbetts and Alan Gerling, 58, were treated and released from St. Mary's Health Center.
Update 10:45 a.m.:
Route 94 is now open after fatal vehicle accident Thursday morning.
Update 8:20 a.m.:
One person has been killed in an early morning accident involving three cars.
Jefferson City Police say Alan Reinkemeyer, 54, of Centertown died in the collision.
The accident involved two four-door sedans and a pick up truck.
Two other drivers, Timothy Suggett, 22, of Tebbetts and Alan Gerling, 58, along with his passenger, Thomas Antweiler, 59, both of Jefferson City were all treated and released from St. Mary's Health Center.
Both lanes of Route 94 near the entrance to the ABB plant are closed. Emergency crews say the closure is expected to continue through late Thursday morning.
Investigators in Jefferson city are on the scene of a fatal car accident.It happened about an hour ago at the junction of Highway 94 and 54 near the ABB plant.Police say at least one person is dead, we believe multiple cars were involved.Police are re-routing traffic.
