Update: 3 arrested for cocaine distribution

Boone County Sheriff TMs Department arrested three people after serving two search warrants on both sides of a duplex at 5321 Ponderosa Street, just south of Columbia.

Deputies arrested Michael Jerome Walker Jr., 25, Matthew R. Olsson, 32, and Corey Wayne Everage, 32, all three from Columbia, after an investigation revealed that occupants were working together in a cocaine distribution operation.

Walker was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence. At the time of his arrest, Walker was on parole for distribution of a controlled substance.

Olsson was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence and failure to notify law enforcement of sex offender address change.

Everage was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.

All three are being held at Boone County Jail.

Boone County Deputies arrested two people after serving search warrants to two duplexes on South Ponderosa Street Monday morning.

Deputies surrounded the duplex located along Highway 63 just south of Columbia.

The police activity was visible to motorist on Highway 63.
