Two women injured in Columbia shooting

Two women were injured after a Saturday night shooting in Columbia.

Around 11:37, officers were called to the 300 block of West Worley Street for multiple shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old female victim with a gunshot wound. She was transported to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

A second victim, a 17-year-old female, was grazed by a bullet. She did not require medical attention.

Officers found 29 shell casings and two unspent bullets at the scene.

The suspect has been described as a black male with long dreads possibly driving a Silver Pontiac. The investigation is ongoing.
