Two men were arrested Wednesday morning after a search of their Cole County residence turned up stolen property and a controlled substance.
Aaron Boehm was charged with second-degree burglary, forced entry, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Eric Davis was charged with second-degree burglary.
The search of the residence at 7504 Helias Spur Road was the result on an ongoing investigation by the Cole County Sheriff's Department into the June 26 burglary of a residence in the 4000 block of Route CC.
The victim of the burglary positively identified several pieces of jewlery found in the Helias Spur residence as stolen items.
The search also turned up approximately a quarter gram of methamphetamine, baggies and a scale.
Both men were taken to Cole County jail with a bond of $75,000 each.
The investigation continues.
