Two men have been arrested in connection with a homicide in Columbia this past Wednesday.
Officers arrested James Thompson, 23, at 4:50 Saturday for first-degree murder in the death of Brian Daniels.
Thompson was arrested after a traffic stop at Grindstone Parkway and Churchill Drive.
His bond is set at $2,000,000 cash only.
Shortly after Thompson's arrest, police arrested Christopher Hurt, 24, at 250 Apple Tree Court.
They were serving a search warrant at the residence in relation to the homicide investigation at the time.
Hurt was arrested for felony possession of controlled substances (cocaine) and felony hindering prosecution.
His total bond is $9,000.
The case is still under investigation.
