Two killed in Miller County motorcycle crash

Two people were killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday.

Two people were killed in an accident involving a motorcycle and a sport utility vehicle Sunday afternoon in Miller County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 77-year-old Elva Farris was traveling northbound on Route AA when she attempted to cross Highway 54, failing to yield to an oncoming motorcycle.

The motorcycle was traveling eastbound on 54 and collided with the side of the SUV.

40-year-old Christopher Vanhoozen and 38-year-old Cynthia Vanhoozen, both of Memphis, Mo., were pronounced dead at the scene.
