Two JC men charged for selling psychedelic mushrooms

Two men were charged Wednesday in Cole County Court for selling psilocybin, or psychedelic, mushrooms and marijuana.
On Tuesday, the MUSTANG Drug Task Force, with the Jefferson City Police Department, the Cole County Sheriff's Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, searched a home at 316 Ashley Street.
During the search, they found several gallon bags of the mushrooms, totaling four pounds, a pound of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and three handguns.
Tynan Hartung-West and Aaron Todd were arrested. They were charged today with two felony counts each of distributing controlled substances.
