Two arrested in Johnny's Pizza and Steak Restaurant burglary

A burglary at Johnny's Pizza and Steak restaurant in Jefferson City has led to the arrest of two men.

Jefferson City police responded to an alarm at 2102 Missouri Boulevard about 3:00 am on Wednesday. When officers arrived, two men were seen running from the back of the restaurant.

After a short chase, one suspect was caught two blocks away. The second suspect was later found by police dog "Buzz". The dog found the suspect hiding in a stolen truck.

Rodney Rominous, 41, and Joshua Temmen, 21, both of Jefferson City, were taken into custody. They were arrested for felony stealing, felony resisting arrest, possession of burglary tools and vehicle theft.

The investigation at the scene showed forcible entry to the business. Officersa said about $500 worth of merchandise was taken from the business and subsequently recovered.
