Two arrested for possession of stolen property

Two Mexico residents were arrested by Centralia police Wednesday for possession of stolen property.

Erik W. Ray, 42, and Angel N. Picton, 30, were found to be living together in a stolen camping trailer by Centralia police on November 25. The trailer was parked at an abandoned residence near Hallsville, along Missouri Route OO.

Police said when they made contact with the two on November 27 they were driving a Dodge pickup truck reported stolen from Montgomery County in October. They were also in possession of an ATV reported stolen from Callaway County earlier this month.

Ray and Picton could be charged with stealing, receiving stolen property, and alteration of VIN numbers.
