Authorities have charged two Tipton residents with first degree drug trafficking.
Robert Barnett Jr., 44, and Charity Steinbrink, 29, were arrested Sunday night during a traffic stop on Highway 5, just south of Interstate 70.
Authorities stopped the two suspects based on information from the area drug task force.
A search of the truck Steinbrink was driving revealed marijuana, drug paraphernalia and 3-ounces of meth with a street value of about $10,000.
The suspects are being held on $100,000 bond.
Steinbrink is also being held without bond for a probation violation.
Authorities have also arrested two other people in connection with the incident, but have not yet released their names.
