Two people are being held without bond on drug and weapons charges after initially fleeing from police during a traffic stop Wednesday.
According to the Camden County Sheriff's Department, deputies attempted to pull a vehicle over on highway 54 in Osage Beach, at which time the driver fled at high speed.
After approximately one mile, the car pulled over. A search revealed a pistol and methamphetamine.
The driver, Sheila Bacon, 48, of Osage Beach, was arrested on charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, resisting arrest, and felon in possession of a firearm.
The passenger, Mark Bruska, 30, of Camdenton was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Both are being held in the Camden County jail without bond.
