Trial to begin for 2011 double murder

Jacie Coari's trial is scheduled to begin Monday.

The murder trial begins Monday for an Audrain County woman for her role in the deaths of an Auxvasse father and daughter in September, 2011.

Jacie Coari is charged with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of first-degree robbery.

Court records show Jacie Coari admitted to dropping her husband, Ryan Coari, off at victim Mike Wieberg's home so he could rob him.

Ryan Coari is accused of shooting Michael and his daughter Amanda. The Wiebergs were found in Michael's home after it was burned to the ground. A coroner determined both died before the fire began.

Ryan Coari is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and one count of second-degree arson. Online court records show his trial is scheduled to begin on September 23 in Boone County.
