Traffic congestion eases somewhat on northbound 63

Northbound traffic at 63 and Broadway will ease somewhat now, and southbound traffic will likely slow until June 19.

Upgrades to the off-ramp from northbound U.S. Highway 63 onto Broadway in Columbia are completed, and the ramp is again in use, according to MoDot.

The work involved work on the bridge over Hominy Creek, which is part of the off ramp.

MoDot says next on the agenda is an upgrade to the southbound on-ramp from Broadway onto 63. That work will begin Monday at 7:00 p.m. and last until 6:00 a.m. Thursday, June 19, weather permitting.

If you need to access highway 63 southbound from Broadway, MoDot suggests using 63 north to Vandiver, crossing over the highway, and proceeding south from there.
