There is still a chance for a few strong stroms overnight capable of heavy rainfall, lightning and damaging winds but widespread severe weather is not anticipated overnight. Strong to Severe storms are possible across parts of mid-Missouri tonight and areas along and north of I-70 are under a Tornado Watch until 2 a.m. Tuesday morning. The heat and humidity today have provided a favorable environment for thunderstorm development in this area. The highest threat for tornadoes and severe weather is along the Missouri and Iowa state line.
