Columbia Police are searching for 3 suspects in an early Friday morning robbery at the Aspen Heights apartment complex.

Columbia police are searching for three suspects in an early Friday morning home invasion in the 3700 block of Aspen Heights Pkwy.

Two black males entered the home in the Aspen Heights apartment complex, demanded money and pointed a handgun at a 20-year-old victim.

Hearing the commotion downstairs, an upstairs roommate confronted one of the suspects.

The two suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money in an older gray passenger car where a third suspect was waiting.

Police officers saw a gray four door vehicle coming from the vicinity of the lumber yard on Ponderosa Street, but didn't follow the vehicle for safety reasons.

Suspect number one is described as a black male in his mid-20s, 6'2", 200 pounds, wearing all gray clothing. This suspect was armed at the time of the robbery.

The second suspect was also a black male in his early to mid-20s, 6"0', 180 pounds, short hair, and wearing jeans. He was also armed at the time of the robbery.

No one was injured in the invasion.
