Three men are recovering from non-life threatening injuries that police say they sustained during a fight Saturday night.
Hermann Police received the call about an assault in the 200 block of Gutenberg Street around 7:30 p.m.
Officers on the scene found three injured men at different locations in the immediate area.
Hermann Police say preliminary information suggests that two of the men were arguing when at least one other man got involved as well.
The verbal argument turned physical. One of the men was stabbed in his rear upper thigh.
Specific details are unclear at this time because police say all the participants had consumed alcohol.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is encouraged to contact Sgt. Marlon Walker or Cpl. Linkee Carrillo to assist in the ongoing investigation.
Police will not release any more information or the identities of those involved pending the investigation. If and when they determine the primary aggressor, the case will be sent to the Gasconade County Prosecutor for charges.
Police only identified the three men as not being residents of Hermann.
