Three men have been arrested, and one suspect remains at large, in connection with a series of burglaries and thefts in Gasconade and Osage Counties.
Working with several agencies, the Osage County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant at 10482 Highway 100, in Chamois, Missouri on Tuesday. Osage County Sheriff Michael Dixon said in a press release his office had been working closely with the Gasconade County Sheriffâ??s Office following a series of burglaries and thefts had occurred in the Morrison, Missouri and Chamois area. After a lengthy investigation by both Sheriffâ??s Offices, a search warrant was obtained and deputies located stolen property including a tractor and a firearm.
While executing the search warrant, a vehicle fled from the address. After a short chase, it was located on Cherry Street in Chamois.
Deputies arrested Billy D. McCrocklin, 29, of Chamois and charged him with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Receiving Stolen Property. A Judge set his bond at $30,000. McCrocklin is being held at the Osage County Jail.
Deputies also arrested two suspects stemming from the vehicle pursuit. They are Jimmy L. Brown, 32, of Washington, Missouri and Joshwa K.Haddox, 27, of Bland, Missouri. Both were arrested for Resisting/Interfering with an
arrest/detention/stop and taken to the Osage County Jail and released "pending the request of charges."
A second suspect identified as David McCrocklin is being sought in connection with the thefts and burglaries in both Gasconade and Osage Counties. David McCrocklin remains at large however investigating agencies have listed him as wanted and a stop and hold has been placed for him.
