Three arrested in California, Mo. meth lab seizure

Three people are in jail after a drug bust by the California Police Department and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force. A news release from the two organizations reported that on Tuesday evening, members of the drug task force and California Police Department sezied an active Methamphetamine lab from an apartment in California. Police said it happened at 1305 Buchanan Street. Officers said before the raid, they had information that Jacob Murphy was manufacturing the drug in the apartment. Officers found Coleman Fuel, Denatured Alcohol, sulfuric acid, lithium, lye and ammonium nitrate at the apartment. They also found digital scales, packaging material, Methamphetamine and two active Hydrochloride gas generators. Police arrested Jacob Murphy, 38, Dale Bosley, 28, and Michelle McMillin, 37, all of California. A child was located within the apartment and was taken to the Division of Family Services for treatment and evaluation. The three suspects were arrested on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance within 2000 feet of a school, manufacturing a controlled substance with a child in the residence and possession of a controlled substance " all felonies. They are housed at the Moniteau County Jail without bond.
