Threat for severe weather to continue this evening

Thu, 03 Apr 2014 21:36:32 GMT — Showers and thunderstorms are continuing to move through Mid-Missouri this afternoon. A tornado watch remains in affect the southern and western portions of the viewing area until 9 PM.The threat for severe weather will continue this afternoon and evening. A broken line of storm is forming and will mesh into a line and move east through the viewing area. The main threats for severe weather with these storms should stay south of 1-70. Expect some large hail, gusty winds and an isolated tornado.The storms and cold front should be out of the area after 10 PM tonight; that will leave us with decreasing clouds and temperatures falling into the upper 30s/lower 40 by Friday morning.ã??The KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team will stay continue to monitor these storm as they move through central Missouri.
