Jefferson City Police confirm there is a third person involved in the homicide investigation of Christopher Cray.
The probable cause statement for Adam Moore-Duncan said â??the victim was placed into the missing blue trash cart and disposed of at the landfill by the defendant and co-defendantâ??.
In this case, Moore-Duncan is the defendant but Captain Doug Shoemaker said the â??co-defendantâ?? listed in the PC statement is not Richard Love, who is already arrested for involvement in the case.
Captain Shoemaker would not comment on the identity of the third person.
The PC statement said the trash cart Crayâ??s body was put in was taken from the 400-block of Boonville Road.
Captain Shoemaker said there could be circumstances surrounding the particular address where the trash can was taken that are also related to the case but canâ??t confirm them.
Moore-Duncan is currently in custody in connection with the Cray case.
He is currently charged with tampering with physical evidence and abandoning a corpse.
Richard Love was arrested June 18 and was charged with tampering with a witness.
Love is accused of sending a witness a text reading, in part, "u rat u gon die like the first rat did in a mousetrap."
