Mon, 26 May 2014 12:35:36 GMT — The warm, summer-like pattern continues for Mid-Missouri. Temperatures will remain above normal all week with the potential for scattered rain and thunderstorms every day. Memorial Day saw a pleasant morning in the 60s and 70s with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will reach the lower-mid 80s during the afternoon hours. A slow moving area of low pressure will combine with the heat of the day to set off scattered showers and storms. Severe weather is not expected. Most of the rain and thunderstorms should die down after sunset. A few isolated showers may linger overnight. The rest of the week will basically be a carbon copy of Monday with temperatures in the 80s and scattered storm chances.
