Tue, 17 Jun 2014 12:52:27 GMT — The last few days of spring will be very summer-like in Mid-Missouri. The above normal temperature trend will continue on Tuesday afternoon as highs reach the lower-mid 90s. Rich, Gulf moisture will combine with the hot temperatures to drive the heat index near the century mark. Those that are planning to be outside during the afternoon will likely experience conditions that make the temperature feel like it's between 98-101 degrees. While there are no Heat Advisories or Warnings in effect, use caution if you're going to outdoors and active. Be sure to stay hydrated and check on the elderly, kids and pets. Slightly cooler temperatures will arrive by the weekend.Follow the KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team for the latest updates.www.connectmidmissouri.com/weather
