Wed, 20 Aug 2014 12:41:49 GMT — After the coolest first two and half months of summer in 5 years, above normal temperatures are coming to Mid-Missouri. Temperatures from Wednesday through Sunday will be in the mid 90s, with heat indices between 100-107 during the afternoon hours. The first Heat Advisory of the year has been issued for Boone, Callaway, Cole, Moniteau, Osage, Audrain, Gasconade and Montgomery Counties until Sunday evening. It wouldn't be surprising if this was expanded to more of the viewing area. Those with outdoor plans should make sure to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks. Sunstroke, muscle cramps and heat stroke are all possible with these conditions. Be sure to keep an eye on pets, young children and the elderly as well.Follow the KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team for the latest updates. www.connectmidmissouri.com/weather
