Fri, 07 Feb 2014 12:39:00 GMT — The winds were a bit lighter on Friday morning, but it didn't provide much relief. Temperatures across Mid-MO were well below zero with mostly clear skies. Clouds will slowly increase during the morning hours with winds light from the south. Those southerly winds will help warm us up a bit for the afternoon as highs flirt with the 20s - still nearly 20 degrees below normal. As clouds linger tonight, low temperatures won't be quite as brutal as we fall into the mid-upper teens. The first of several weak, upper-air disturbances will roll through late Friday into Saturday bringing a chance of flurries and light snow. Accumulations, if any, will be minor. Less than half an inch of snow is expected across the viewing area.Follow the KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team for the latest updates on winter weather in Mid-Missouri.
