Teen arrested after climbing on roof to avoid police

A Jefferson City teen with six outstanding warrants was arrested by police Sunday afternoon.

19-year-old Terrian Davis was arrested after Jefferson City officers recognized him in the front yard of 821 E. McCarty. As they approached the residence, Davis fled inside.

The teen then made his way upstairs and outside to the roof where he hid briefly before officers took him into custody.

A ladder truck from the Jefferson City Fire Department was able to safely assist Davis and the officers from the roof.

Davis faces additional charges for resisting arrest.
