Members of Missouri Task Force 1 are aiding in search and rescue operations in Colorado flooding.
Task Force 1 was called to deploy at 10 p.m. Saturday and left Columbia from the Boone County Fire District Headquarters around 3:40 a.m. Sunday.
They were put on alert earlier this week.
The crew consists of 80 men and women in 17 vehicles, four disaster search dogs and over 100,000 pounds of specialty equipment.
Once Task Force 1 arrives in Colorado they will receive their assignments from an Incident Management Team.
They are prepared to stay in Colorado for two weeks, but Task Force officials don't anticipate it will be that long.
