The storm cluster will move to the east/southeast potentially bringing rain to the entire viewing area. While the storms will be strong, severe weather will also be possible. Wind gusts in excess of 50 mph will be possible along with frequent lightning strikes and heavy rain for the areas hardest hit - mainly from Jefferson City to the north. Most of the area should be dry by 10 AM.As a cold front stalls near I-44, additional storms may develop during the afternoon hours for the southern/southeastern portions of the area. If those storms can become severe, wind and hail will be the biggest threats.Follow the KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team for the latest updates.www.connectmidmissouri.com
