Stover woman life-flighted after Morgan County crash

      A Stover woman was life-flighted from the scene of a Morgan County crash early Sunday morning.

      According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 59-year-old Michael Moore was driving eastbound on Missouri 52 just west of Route AA around 3:45 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and then ran off the left side of the road.

      The car then hit a ditch, overturned and hit a fence and a large tree.

      62-year-old Sheryl Taylor sustained serious injuries and was flown to University Hospital. She was wearing a seatbelt.

      13-year-old Heather Slaughter sustained moderate injuries and 25-year-old Bruce Moore sustained minor injuries.

      Both were taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.
