Good weather has helped construction crews to get ahead of schedule in building the new St. Mary's Health Center off Hwy 179 in Jefferson City.
As a result, the scheduled opening date has been moved up to November of 2014.
The hospital is not even open yet and already hundreds of people come to work there each day.
Right now they are focused on putting in massive windows and getting the structure enclosed for winter.
The 150 patients rooms will offer beautiful views from high above the city, but unlike in the current hospital which was built more than 100 years ago and renovated several times, the rooms will be all private and all exactly alike.
Corridors will be wider and two sets of elevators will offer more privacy for patients.
While the building is being covered in black right now, that's temporary and is used for weatherization. The final product will be more appealing terra-cotta tiles.
The project has a budget of $200 million.
