ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A St. Louis man has died, seven months after he was kicked and punched by two teenagers in a street robbery.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that prosecutors may upgrade charges against the teens, who were ages 15 and 16 at the time of the attack.
Police say 46-year-old Lewis Rice was beaten so savagely in February that he never regained consciousness. Court records indicate the teens, who are stepbrothers, punched and kicked him numerous times and then tried to rob him.
