Mon, 24 Mar 2014 12:21:48 GMT — Winter returns to Mid-Missouri on Monday. Morning temperatures were cold in the 20s with clouds moving in from the north. An area of low pressure was producing light snow early, most of which was evaporating before making it to the ground. More snow will be possible during the afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures will be above freezing as highs reach the lower 40s so rain will likely mix with the snow at times. Ground temperatures look to be a little too warm for anything to stick, but minor snow accumulations may be possible on the grass. Mainly around half an inch. Most of the snow will wrap up Monday night with lingering flurries. Lows will fall to the mid 20s. Sunshine will be back on Tuesday with highs well below normal in the upper 30s. Follow the KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team for the latest updates. www.connectmidmissouri.com/weather
