Customers of Public Water Supply District number 10 in Boone County are under a boil advisory until Friday due to a water main break.
About 150 customers are affected.
According to Sherry Creel, the water district manager, the break occurred on Lockwood Lane, north of Highway 124 near Harrisburg.
The boil order is in effect until Friday at 3:00, which Creel says will give the district time to fix the break, send a sample to a testing company in Columbia, and get results back.
Residents along these roads are affected: Highway 124 west of Hopper Rd., Proctor Rd., Oakgrove School Rd., Blakemore Rd., Stidham Rd., Gruender Lane, Old Number 7, Maiden Rd., Lockwood Lane, and Highway NN south of Voorheis Rd.
