Six people are dead after a violent 24-hour period in St. Louis.

Police say it is unclear if any of the shootings are related.

It began Thursday afternoon when two men wearing ski masks targeted a car on the city's north side. Instead, they hit innocent bystanders, killing a man in his 50s.

A man's body was found in a burning car around 6:30 p.m. Later, a 42-year-old woman was killed while driving along Interstate 70 when another car pulled up and someone began shooting.

The body of a young man was found around 9:30 p.m. in a vacant lot. He had been shot.

At about 8 a.m. Friday, officers found two people dead from gunshot wounds. Police say it appeared the victims were running when they were killed.
