Severe weather in Mid-Missouri

Pretty much all the severe weather that hit Central Missouri early Tuesday has passed through the area.

The Missouri National Weather Service has not confirmed if any of the tornado warnings actually had tornadoes touch down.

KRCGâ??s meteorologist Zach Paul said that the rest of Tuesday is supposed to be very cold with a chance of flurries.

He said daytime highs Tuesday afternoon will only be in the thirties and low forties at most locations throughout mid-Missouri, with brisk northwest winds bringing wind chill values down into the teens and low twenties.

Very cold conditions can be expected Tuesday night, with lows dropping into the teens.

As of 1:55am the National Weather Service has cancelled all warning for the KRCG viewing area. The tornado watch is still in effect until 7:00 a.m. There were several reports of 1" hail but no damage or injuries have been reported.
