Wed, 17 Apr 2013 15:58:37 GMT — Another round of strong storms is forecasted to roll across the area overnight toward sunrise. Areas around Marshall, Keytesville, and Salibury have already seen upwards of 3 inches of rainfall and numerous Flash Flood Warnings are in effect through the pre-dawn on Thursday. All of mid-Missouri is under a Flash Flood Watch until early Friday morning. Strong storms will follow a cold front sweeping through early Thursday morning. These storms will produce copious amounts of rainfall and will lead to more flash flooding. You can also expect damaging wings and also large hail. Some of the stronger storms could still produce a tornado and 14 counties in mid-Missouri are under a Tornado Watch until 5am. Rain and storms should begin to taper off by the early afternoon Thursday. The KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team will closely monitor this potential severe weather situation and provide updates as they become available.
