Thu, 27 Mar 2014 12:41:52 GMT — Spring-like temperatures return to Mid-Missouri on Thursday and with that comes spring-like storm chances. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will move through the area during the morning hours with temperatures in the 40s and 50s. We may see a break in the rain around midday with more storms firing up during the mid-late afternoon. This second round of activity is thanks to a streaking cold front colliding with warm, moist air. Highs will be in the mid-upper 60s. There is a slight chance some of these storms could be severe with wind and hail as the biggest threats. Rain will clear the area Thursday night.Follow the KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team for the latest updates.www.connectmidmissouri.com/weather
