Tue, 21 May 2013 12:54:28 GMT — After two days of strong and severe weather, Mid-Missouri may finally catch a break from threatening storms on Tuesday. A slow moving cold front is on the Missouri/Kansas border and will head east throughout the day. With warm, moist air in place, there is a chance of showers and storms late this afternoon into tonight. Some of these storms could produce hail and gusty winds - especially for eastern sections of the area.Parts of Mid-Missouri were previously under a "Slight Risk" outlook from the Storm Prediction Center. That has now been moved to the southeast and does not include any counties in the viewing area.
