Sedalia 15-year-old dies in Pettis County car accident
PETTIS COUNTY —
A Wednesday morning car crash claimed the life of one teenager and injured another.
Jack Tague, 16, was driving a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country on Route Y just east of Fairway Drive in Pettis County. Tague tried to pass another vehicle and lost control of his car.
The minivan drove off the road and struck a tree. Jordan Sparks, 15, a passenger in the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene. A crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol stated Sparks was not wearing a seatbelt; Tague was wearing his seatbelt.
