After the washout that was Thursday, there's good news for those with outdoor plans this weekend. Rain chances are looking much lower for Mid-Missouri over the next few days. There remains a slight chance of a few spotty showers for both Friday and Saturday, with most of the area staying dry. Upper air disturbances will still move through the area for the weekend, but most of the precipitation should stay to the south of Mid-Missouri. Storm chances will then pick up late in the day Sunday and then again on Monday.
Temperatures for the weekend should be on the mild side, but below normal. Highs for Saturday and Sunday will both be in the mid 80s. The below average temperature trend continues for much of next week.
