Rain, freezing rain, snow headed to Missouri

The brief spell of warm, dry weather in Missouri is coming to an end, and forecasters are warning that parts of the state are about to get hit with some combination of rain, freezing rain and snow.
Temperatures in the 50s were common on Thursday. National Weather Service meteorologist Jon Carney says the big change starts Friday.
The weather service has issued freezing rain advisories in western Missouri, flash flood watches in southwest Missouri and flood watches in the eastern part of the state. Up to 4 inches of rain is possible, especially in southeast Missouri.
After the rain and freezing rain end Saturday night, many will see snow. By midday Sunday, 5 inches of snow is possible in a line from Kansas City to Kirksville in northeast Missouri.
