Mon, 21 Apr 2014 12:07:19 GMT — After a very pleasant and dry Easter weekend, rain is heading to Mid-Missouri. Showers and a few thunderstorms started to move into the southwestern corner of the viewing area early Monday. The rain will spread to the east and northeast throughout the morning hours. Temperatures were in the 50s and 60s.As a cold front slides in from the west more showers and storms will occur during the afternoon hours. There may be an occasional heavy downpour, but severe weather is not expected. Highs will try to reach the lower-mid 70s.
