Two people are in the hospital and four more slightly injured after a pickup truck crashed near Waynesville early Sunday morning.
Highway Patrol reports show Shane Hall lost control of his 1986 Toyota pickup while traveling at high speed on the wrong side of Raceway Road. The truck began skidding, ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree before going back onto the road and hitting a mailbox.
All six occupants sustained varying injuries. Hall and three others sustained minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene, with one passenger running away. Waynesville resident Amber Mills, 17, sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon. Richland resident Travis See was seriously injured and also taken to Mercy. From there, he was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
None of the truck's occupants were wearing seat belts.
