Wed, 13 Apr 2011 22:41:23 GMT — A controversial bill is headed to Governor Nixon TMs desk.The House approved legislation on Wednesday that would change Missouri TMs dog breeding law. The close 85-71 vote gave final approval to the bill. It was previously approved in the Senate.The new bill eliminates the cap on owning 50 breeding dogs and eases requirements on living conditions for the animals. It now allows licensing costs of up to $2,500 instead of $500.A spokesman for Nixon said he will do a comprehensive review of the bill before deciding whether to sign it.
