Police search for suspect in Jefferson City shooting

Tue, 22 Apr 2014 06:15:13 GMT — UPDATE at 11:00 a.m.- The Jefferson City Police Department is looking for a 28-year-old suspect in the Buena Vista St. shooting. Marcus Jordan, of Jefferson City, is suspected of shooting a 39-year-old victim multiple times after an altercation. Jordan is 6??0, 175 pounds, and was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt. The victim is currently in stable condition at University Hospital. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to call the Jefferson City Police Department at 573-634-6400. Original story from 1:15 a.m.- Jefferson City Police are investigating a shooting in the 1000-block of Buena Vista Street around 10:00 p.m. Monday. After multiple reports of shots fired, police found a victim inside the home with gunshot wounds to the torso and hand. That victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police have witness descriptions and are currently searching for the suspect.
