Police search for Sedalia homicide suspect
The Pettis County Prosecutor has obtained a warrant for a suspect in a Sedalia homicide.
Sedalia police are searching for 28-year-old Justin "Country" Lewis in connection with the death of a 33-year-old woman.
Heather McClellan suffered assault wounds and was found at an apartment in the 400 block of East 7th Street back on January 15th.
She later died from her injuries at a local hospital.
Lewis' arrest warrant is for second-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
Authorities consider Lewis armed and dangerous. They ask that the public not approach him, but rather call the nearest law enforcement agency.
Pettis County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of Lewis.
